御幸の浜海岸

Went for a bicycle ride to the beach today. Enjoyed the cool waters of Sagami Bay. Most of the shoreline is full of soft stones, but at low tide, you can go barefoot in the dark, volcanic sand.

All of these shots were taken with a Sony Handycam (Sony HDR-GW77V) due to its high resistance to water and sand.

Stone, Sand, and Fur

In August of 2014, I took the girls down to the beach. For Mary, I anticipated that she would just chill out on a towel that had been laid on warm sand to suck up some sun. Picture a beautiful dame lying out under the sun in some classic Hollywood blockbuster. That's our Mary.

Dale, on the other hand, could figure out that biting the foam of waves that had crashed upon the shoreline were not in fact actually "biteable" in any sense of the term. She just ended up ingesting seawater and sand!
