Brightly lit like a Christmas tree, the izakaya (Japanese pub), which is located right under the bullet train tracks, seemed quite popular with both locals and overseas tourists.
Brightly lit like a Christmas tree, this izakaya tucked beneath the railway tracks of the bullet train line had a steady mix of locals and overseas visitors alike.
In reality, this corner was crowded with people moving in every direction, but with a 15-second exposure, most of them quietly disappeared leaving behind only a trace of their presence.
I wouldn’t call myself a frequent visitor to pubs, aside from the occasional business gathering with clients or colleagues. Still, I find myself drawn to scenes like this, where neon signs and rows of red lanterns cast their warm glow onto the streets below.
