About Me

Iketani, Daisei (池谷大星): Japan has been my photographic playground for 30+ years. In the past couple of years, my hobby has become a part-time job covering various genre including landscape, nightscape, seascape, architectural, and real estate photography. While researching new and compelling sites for future photo shoots, I aim to help my audience overcome the language barrier by introducing locations including famous and not-so-famous sites that are close to Tokyo, free of busloads of tourists, and can be reached within 1 day. As I share my photo-taking process, I hope to build a community where we can critique and learn from each other as we aspire to become better photographers!
