Mishima and Itachi

Took the dogs for a walk tonight with my iPhone. I took both the border collie and the miniature pinscher with me, so I didn't have the patience to bring a DSLR and tripod with me. Dale, the larger dog, is a handful. And Mary is so small and dark colored that it would be easy to lose her at night if I didn't keep a close eye on her!

These aren't the best shots ever, but you do with what you've got. It's really hard to get a decent shot at night. I think mobile phone cameras were probably developed for selfies, of which I am not a fan.

Itachi River Moon

Took Dale for a walk at night along Itachi River, which about 10 minutes from the house. Took my camera with me and was lucky enough to catch a nice shot of the moon. Also glad I brought a tripod, otherwise it would have been impossible to get a clear shot.

Mary Blanket

Mary taking a rest in her pile of blankets. She loves to burrow underneath them and will even give a muffled bark at intruders of her territory from under the covers.

Time to wake up and go for a walk.

Whenever I say the word "sanpo" (Japaneses for going for a walk), she turns her head and will sometimes run back under the covers.

Although, she does love being tickled just as long as she can do so lying down without having to put out much of an effort. A bit of a diva.

Sunny Iijima Shimin-no-Mori Park

Took the dogs for a walk in Iijima Shimin-no-Mori Park, which is only a five-minute walk from the house.

It was a warm, winter afternoon with no breeze. So, it felt like spring. In fact, a few fruit tree blossoms were blooming -- signs of spring finally arriving or at least the waning of winter.
